BioGaia has signed an agreement with the Indonesian pharmaceutical company Interbat. They will sell BioGaia Probiotic Drops in Indonesia beginning in 2011. "We are very much looking forward to the cooperation with Interbat.The company has a strong local position and regularly visits paediatricians, who are the target group for our probiotic drops, says Peter Rothschild, President of BioGaia. BioGaia tablets are already on the Indonesian market through the pharmaceutical company Kalbe Farma.

Today we have launched a new version of our website, as you can see. The updated version is more user-friendly with content and navigation clearly sorted by user groups (health care professionals, consumers, partners and investors) simplifying finding the information you are looking for. The studies and clinical documentation is now searchable by age group, field of interest and/or author.

Probiomax, the chewable tablet with Lactobacillus reuteri, is now also sold through Swedish pharmacies. The product trade dress on both the bottle label and box has changed and it now displays the BioGaia logotype. View this ABC local news story about baby Vincent, the BioGaia Drops and comments by Dr Rhoads, Houston, USA. Dr.Rhoads says it's too soon for researchers to recommend probiotic drops for colic, but if parents are desperate, he says it's safe to try them.
